• The Terps checked in at No. 13 in the latest edition of the NET rankings. Only Kansas (12) has more combined quad 1 and 2 victories than the Terps (10). Eight of Maryland's final 11 games are against quad 1 opponents.
• Maryland turned the ball over just 11 times over the last two games, including five at Indiana. The success is due in large part to ball handlers Anthony Cowan Jr. and Eric Ayala, who have combined for 20 assists and just one turnover in the last two games.
• The Terps have combined for 25 made 3-pointers over the last two games, shooting 40.2% during that span. Maryland is the only team in the Big Ten Conference to knock down 25 3-pointers in a two-game span in conference action this season.
• Senior Anthony Cowan Jr. has scored at least 16 points in 11 of his last 16 games and currently leads the Big Ten in free throws made (97). He is one of just eight players in Maryland history to play 4,000 career minutes.
• Anthony Cowan Jr. (1685) needs 20 points to pass Walt Williams (1704) for 12th on Maryland's all-time scoring list. Cowan (522 asts) recently passed Terp legend John Lucas (1972-76) for fifth on Maryland's all-time assists list. He is also second all-time in free throws made (504). Cowan is one of two players in Maryland history to record 1,600 points and 520 assists (Greivis Vasquez).
