COLLEGE PARK, Md.-- Maryland heads Clemson, S.C to  match up against Clemson and Pittsburgh for the 2020 Big Ten/ACC Challenge. 
The Big Ten claimed the crown in 2019 with a 23-13 record over the ACC.
Maryland is coming off it's first win of the season over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 3-1. The Terps finished 1-4 at the Texas Classic. 
TEXAS CLASSIC HIGHLIGHTS

Regan Kerr led the Terps with a .333 average as she started all five games at the Texas Classic.. Kerr had four hits in 12 at-bats, posting a .333 slugging percentage and an .385 on-base percentage. She also was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases.

Taylor Liguori had four hits in 12 at-bats for a .333 batting average. She also drew a walk and had a .385 on-base percentage for the week. She made zero errors on the defensive end, keeping her fielding percentage to 1.000.

Amelia Jarecke captured the first win of her career against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Texas Classic. Jarecke controlled the circle for the Terps pitching all seven innings. Jarecke recorded  five strikeouts, allowing just four hits and one run against the Islanders. She holds a 1-0 record in the 2020 season.
