COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland wrestling team returns home for its last Big Ten dual of the season when #24 Northwestern visits the XFINITY Center Sunday at 1 p.m.
This marks the fifth-annual Beauty and the Beast meet where the gymnastics and wrestling teams will compete simultaneously on the XFINITY Center main floor with the gymnasts facing Rutgers and the wrestlers taking on Northwestern.
Admission to the event is $10 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors. Tickets can be purchased online here. Parking is free.

Scouting Northwestern
Northwestern is coming off last weekend with matchups against Michigan State and #6 Ohio State under its belt, notably beating the Spartans 24-15 on Senior Night in its final home dual at Welsh-Ryan this season. The Wildcats - led by head coach Matt Storniolo - are 4-7 on the season, with wins coming over #14 Northern Iowa, North Dakota State, Indiana, and Michigan State. SixNorthwestern wrestlers appear in the national rankings, most notably Ryan Deakin who ranks first in the nation across the board at 157 pounds. The Wildcats lead the all-time series against Maryland, 3-0.
