COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland men's basketball team returns to New York City Sunday when it faces No. 20 Florida at Barclays Center in the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational.

The game will be broadcast on the Maryland Sports Radio Network and Big Ten Network.

  • The Terrapins last appeared at Barclays Center in the 2016 Barclays Classic, when it defeated Richmond and Kansas State to claim the tournament title.

PLAYING WITH HART 
  • Junior Hakim Hart broke out for a season-high 24 points on 8-of-9 shooting, including 19 in the second half, as Maryland defeated Richmond, 86-80, on Thanksgiving in the Bahamas. 
  • The Terrapins trailed by nine points at the break and outscored the Spiders by 15 in the second half.

SERIES HISTORY
  • Sunday's meeting marks just the fourth matchup in history between Maryland and Florida. In the most recent meeting, the Terrapins memorably defeated the top-ranked Gators, 69-68, in overtime, in Gainesville on Dec. 10, 2003.
  • Nik Caner-Medley posted 22 points and 13 boards while Travis Garrison hit a jumper with 18 seconds remaining to secure Gary Williams' 300th career victory at Maryland.
