Maryland to Host B1G Tailgate at Ludwig Field this Saturday at 10 a.m.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Big Ten Network will broadcast its B1G Tailgate show live from Ludwig Field on Saturday morning starting at 10 a.m. prior to Maryland's Homecoming game against Northwestern, which will kick at 3:30 p.m. and air on BTN.
Hosted by Brock Vereen, Mike Hall, and Anthony Herron, B1G Tailgate is the home for Big Ten football fans on Saturday mornings with original features, special guests, and Big Ten analysis live from campus.

On-set guests will include Maryland all-time great Shawne Merriman, who was a First Team All-ACC selection in 2004 and left the school ranked second on the all-time sacks list with 23. Merriman was drafted 12th overall by the San Diego Chargers in the 2005 NFL Draft. He earned NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors in his first season and recorded 39.5 sacks in his first three seasons, also making three Pro Bowls as well as two All-Pro selections.

The set will be on the south side of Ludwig Field near Parking Lot 1. Terps fans can make signs onsite or bring their own to show live on B1G Tailgate.

B1G Tailgate originates from a different Big Ten campus each week, beginning at 10 a.m. leading into the first games of the day at Noon. The BTN Tailgate area is free and open to the public.
