COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Softball program will take the trip down to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in the Chanticleer Showdown.
The Terps head into the weekend coming off a walk-off win over No. 17 Mizzou on Sunday, Feb. 20 in THE Spring Games in Leesburg, FL. After the Tigers were on track for a no-hitter, a single from
Jaeda McFarland ended the campaign. Following a first base reach off an error,
Kamryn Davis came home as
Taylor Liguori singled to left field. The Terps toppled the top-25 opponent 1-2. Maryland went 2-3 overall, also taking down Bethune-Cookman 11-3. The Terps now stand at 4-5 for the season.
Maryland softball will face Central Michigan (2-3), Monmouth (1-4), Coastal Carolina (5-5), Dartmouth (0-0), and North Carolina A&T (6-4) Friday, Feb. 25 through Sunday, Feb. 27.
