COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland track and field teams are set to open their 2022 outdoor seasons this Saturday (3/19) as they host the Maryland Invitational at the Kehoe Track at Ludwig Field. 

The Terps will look to have a strong start to their outdoor season, as they host their first meet since the spring of 2021. The Terps capped off a successful indoor season at the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships several weeks ago, and will use their many record setting performances from the indoor season to propel themselves into the upcoming outdoor season. Last year, the Terps had multiple athletes reach NCAA Outdoor Championships and will look to their veteran leaders to drive the team to success. 

Field events are set to begin at 10am and track events are set to begin at noon. The meet will be held at the Kehoe Track at Ludwig Field in College Park, MD. 

Maryland will seek a strong start to their outdoor season, kicking it off right here in College Park. The meet is scheduled for a 10 AM start, and can be followed live here.
