COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland tennis team (11-1) defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, 7-0, Saturday afternoon for its ninth win in a row. The Terps won two of the doubles matches and three of the singles matches.

"The team did a very good job managing tricky conditions today with the wind. We played a great doubles point taking care of the basics and carried it into singles. We've been practicing well and with very good intent and it showed today out on the court. I'm happy with where we are heading into a long stretch of tough road matches".
