Tennis Terps Sweep Richmond, 4-0

RICHMOND, VA – The Maryland tennis team (9-1) defeated Richmond, 4-0, Saturday afternoon for its seventh win in a row. The Terps won two of the doubles competitions and three of the singles bouts.

Head Coach Katie Dougherty said, "This was a good road test for us being our first match outdoors this spring and dealing with the elements. We executed well in doubles and brought that momentum into singles. Richmond did a good job of fighting out there and happy to get out of here with a win."
