WEST LAFAYETTE, IN -- Maryland's six-game winning streak came to an end in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Saturday at Purdue in a 5-2 loss to the Boilermakers at Bittinger Stadium. The Terps (19-16, 5-2 Big Ten) fought to keep the streak alive in the top of the seventh loading the bases and scoring one run, but the Boilers (19-19, 2-4) held on.
Megan Mikami was one of five Terps with a hit as she also stole three bases to equal her career high.
Jaeda McFarland had a triple while
Mackense Greico,
Trinity Schlotterbeck and
Michaela Jones also had hits.
Schlotterbeck pitched six innings allowing all five runs.

Kiley Goff was hit with a pitch with the bases loaded to put the Terps up 1-0 as
Taylor Okada scored.
• Purdue tied the game in the bottom of the second inning on an RBI single by Kyndell Bailey.
