EAST LANSING, MI - Maryland softball (28-20, 14-6 B1G) dropped its series finale against Michigan State on Sunday, falling by just one run 2-1. Wyche started for the Terps in the circle, allowing two runs on seven hits through five full innings.
Megan Mikami hit and inside-the-park homerun to account for the Terps' only run. It marked the first home run for Mikami this season, and the first inside-the-park home run for the Terps since
JoJo McRae in 2019 (3/19/19 over Virginia).
The top of the order accounted for three of four hits on the day, with Mikami,
Jaeda McFarland and
Mackense Greico each tallying one.
