COLLEGE PARK, MD – On a rainy evening in College Park, the Terps overcame the weather and posted top performances while hosting the Kehoe Twilight meet. The Terps also honored their 2022 graduating class on the night, celebrating their hard work and dedication to the program.
The Kehoe Twilight meet was headlined by multiple first place finishes both on the track and in the field. It was a great tune up meet heading into Championship week.
Men's Notes:

Jeff Kline started the day competing in the discus throw for the Maryland squad, throwing to a mark of 48.28m and earning first place in the event.

Colin Rowe sprinted to a 48.70 finish in the 400m, taking first place.

Cameron Vereen sprinted to an impressive 10.77s finish in the 100m dash, and was victorious.

The Terps had a number of strong performances in the 800m, as the Terps swept second through fifth place. Eric Albright (1:52.73) took second place, Maxwell Myers (1:53.17) took third, Chase McGeehan (1:55.42) fourth and Solomon Lawrence (1:55.54) took fifth. Peter Capozzoli also earned a top ten finish.

Cliff Carty sprinted to a 4:06.60 finish in the 1500m, taking second.

Kiaeem Thomas competed in the long jump for the first time in his freshman campaign.
Women's Notes:

The Terps started the day with a trio competing in the hammer throw. Alice Barnsdale took first place in the event, throwing to a mark of 60.64m. Kamryn Henderson (52.98m) and Sarah George (49.66m) also competed in the hammer throw.

Ariana (13.88s) and Kattiana Ealy-Pulido (14.13s) took first and second place respectively in the 100m hurdles. The duo also doubled up, placing first and second in the 400m hurdles.

Christine Laurie raced to an impressive 4:23.84 finish in the 1500m, taking first place. Anna Coffin (4:37.10), Emma Pegg (4:41.87), Sophia Zell (4:45.19), Katie Turk (4:49.88), Katerina Talanova (4:53.88), Katie Ericson and Claudia Dolan all also competed in the 1500m.

Madison Depry (12.00s) and Jada Ellis (12.16s) had strong 100m dash performances, placing second and third.

Mackenzie Morgan (1:00.47) took second in the 400m.

Lillian Hill claimed victory in the javelin throw on senior night. Jessica Sutter also competed in the event.

Ariana Wright and Kirstin Walz both competed in the 800m run for the Terps squad.

Marisa DiGia competed in the pole vault, alongside Gwendolyn Zeckowski.

Madison Depry (25.40) and Jaiden Ritter (25.44) also competed in the 200m.

"The Twilight meet is about creating a team atmosphere and honoring our seniors heading into conference championships. I am proud of the fight I saw from our full squad today. This is the mental toughness that will carry us through championship season."

The Terps will begin postseason competition next weekend as they will travel to Minneapolis, MN to compete in the Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championship Meet from Friday (5/13) through Sunday (5/15).
