ROSEMONT, IL - Maryland Softball is set to compete in the 2023 ACC/Big Ten Softball Challenge, February 17-19, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. 

The Terps will find themselves in Chapel Hill at the North Carolina site, taking on UNC and Virginia. Maryland will first see the Tarheels on Friday, February 17 and again on Saturday, February 18. The Terps will also compete against the Cavaliers on Saturday, followed by a final game against UNC on Sunday, February 19 at 12:30 p.m.

Maryland will head into 2023 coming off one of the best seasons in program history, setting new records for the most conference wins (14) and the most overall wins (29) since the 2013 season. Head coach Mark Montgomery earned his 600th career win, and the Terps took down two ranked opponents over No. 17 Missouri and No. 22 Michigan.
