Associate Director of Ticket Operations

The Associate Director of Ticket Operations is responsible for the oversight of all ticket operations and game management for women's basketball.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:  The coordination of daily ticket and season ticket sales, allocation of priority seating, the supervision of hourly staff, game management for all home events and the reconciliation for each event and end of season; serve as the primary fiscal administrator and oversee the accounting, deposits and reconciliation procedures for all Ticket Office sales; serve as the secondary ticket contact for football assisting with the allocation of seating and parking as well as preparation for events; manage the external partnerships with StubHub, Great Seats and Dynamic Pricing Partners; responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training and scheduling of event staff for all ticketed events; coordinate the internship program and provide leadership and on-going training; oversee the process for ICA complimentary ticket requests; serve as the Ticket Office representative at women's basketball postseason events; travel, as needed, for football away and postseason events; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience working in a collegiate or professional ticket operations environment is required.
  • Must possess strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Demonstrated experience with computerized ticketing software required.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; must be highly organized and efficient as well as detail oriented with the ability to set goals and monitor progress.
  • Must possess the ability to exercise professional judgment when interacting with customers to ensure a superior level of customer service.
  • Must be able to motivate staff to perform and set a positive example.
  • Commitment to following University, Big Ten Conference and NCAA rules.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes some evening, weekend and holidays. Some team travel may be required.
Preferences:
  • Extensive knowledge of Paciolan preferred.
  • Experience working within a NCAA Division I athletic ticket officer preferred.
