COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Terps return home after a two-game road trip to host No. 24 Ohio State - the first home Big Ten contest since defeating No. 16 Illinois on Dec. 2. After being ranked the last six weeks, Maryland fell out of the AP Top 25 Poll, but is still receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The game will be televised on ESPN starting at 1:00 p.m., while fans can also listen to the Maryland Sports Network (1300 AM - Baltimore, The TEAM 980 AM - Washington, D.C., One Maryland App) with Voice of the Terrapins Johnny Holliday (play-by-play), Chris Knoche (analyst), and Walt Williams (analyst) calling the action.

Maryland enters Sunday's game at No. 55 in the current NCAA NET rankings. Maryland has a Quad 1 win (Miami) and one Quad 2 win (Saint Louis). A total of 14 games for Maryland are currently Quad 1. The Terps have been as high as No. 6 in the NET and as high as No. 13 in the AP Top 25 Poll.

Fear the jahmir
  • Jahmir Young is one of 13 active players in the NCAA to post 1,500 career points, 500 rebounds, and 300 assists.
  • Entering the season, many questioned Jahmir Young's ability to translate his scoring from C-USA to Power 5 play. Young's response has been a team-best 13.9 points and 3.0 assists per game. To date, he has a pair of 20-point games including a season-high 24 against then-No. 16 Illinois. In the stretch of Illinois, Wisconsin, and No. 7 Tennessee, he averaged 19.7 points. He is also the fourth-leading rebounder (4.5) and has the fourth-most blocked shots (9) on the team.
  • Young is the nation's 14th-ranked active career scorer with at 16.3 point per game average and the 46th ranked player in overall points (1,630).

  • Donta Scott became the 59th player in program history to reach 1,000 points in the win over Miami. He scored 24 points in that game and now has 1,109 career points. He is also the 17th Terp to post 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in a career. Through 109 career games he now has 582 rebounds.
  • Darryl Morsell (1,090 points / 510 rebounds / 2018-21) and Anthony Cowan (1,881 points / 508 rebounds / 2017-20) were the most recent Terps to post 1,000/500.
  • Scott is now 47th all-time in scoring and needs 15 points to move past Duane Simpkins (1992-96) for 46th. He needs five more boards to surpass Tom Roy for 30th in career rebounds.
