CHARLESTON, SC -- The Maryland men's golf team wrapped up it's fall season at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate this week in Charleston, S.C.
Five Terps competed in the Daniel Island Intercollegiate at the Daniel Island Country Club. Junior Florian Huerlimann led the Terrapins in the event with his score of 217. His first round on Sunday was his best showing shooting two under with a 70. He went even with a 72 in the second round Monday and closed out on Tuesday with +3 and tied for 23rd.
Sophomore Armand Papaziani earned a score of 223 (75-74-74), which was +7. Senior
Jack Woods shot a 230 (76-79-75) and Graduate student
Ben Cooper earned a score of 232 (71-79-82). Freshman
Ali Berker shot a score of 246 (81-80-85).
As a team, the Terrapins finished in 16th of 18 teams with a score of 902 (292-304-306).
The Terps will resume competition at the Battle at Briar's Creek in John's Island, S.C. February 5-6, 2024.
