Brenda's Takes
- "Terrific response out of the locker room. We spent a lot of time talking about our energy, specifically on the defensive end when our shots weren't falling. I thought the response in the third quarter when it was 31-8 — they saw our full court press, we were a lot more dialed in."
- On the seniors: "Each and every one of them had different journeys, and it hasn't been easy. I think when it's all said and done and over with, they can rely on the fact that they've been really resilient and perservered through the highs and lows of college."
From The Girls
- "It was a full circle moment — I'm back home and to have my neighbors, friends I haven't seen in a long time, come out and support me is really special," said Meyers, a Potomac native and Walt Whitman High alum. "I'm super grateful for them and realize how lucky I am to have that."
- "I think it's awesome how Diamond and I came in together, two Jersey girls, and we're able to be on the court together for our senior year," said Faith Masonius, who competed against Miller as New Jersey natives growing up before sharing the court at Maryland for the last four years. "It's awesome that we're close enough to home at a great program where our family can come and support us and just have the success that we've had in our years at Maryland together."
