A Note From Coach Driesell
Dear Terp Fans,
While I won't be there physically at the game in College Park this Sunday, it is such an honor to be recognized for what our teams accomplished at Maryland. I will certainly be there with you in spirit as I always look back upon our time at Maryland with so much pride. Not just for the success we had on the court, but in seeing the development of the young men in our program. Maryland is such a special place and I thank you for all of the love you have given me and my family over the years.
Thank you and GO TERPS!
~Lefty
Under Head Coach Lefty Driesell, Maryland reached eight NCAA Tournaments, won the 1972 NIT Championship title, won the 1984 ACC Tournament Championship, and posted a pair of ACC Regular Season titles.
