COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Emma DeBerdine and Alyssa Klebasko were selected as members of the 2024 Big Ten All-Tournament Team, the conference announced Sunday. 

Graduate midfielder Emma DeBerdine earns the selection as a versatility member of the Terps controlling the midfield throughout the weekend. DeBerdine returned to College Park for her final year of eligibility after representing the United States in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. DeBerdine earned All-Big Ten First Team honors for the third time in her career. The Lancaster, Pennsylvania native, has started in 92 of the 93 games she played in, tallying 74 points from 23 goals and 28 assists. DeBerdine has multiple accolades during her undergraduate career, including two NFHCA All-American honors and now three All-Big Ten recognitions.

Alyssa Klebasko, a sophomore goalkeeper, makes the All-Tournament team for the second straight year after two poised performances in goal. Against No. 16 Iowa, Klebasko made five saves in regulation and recorded her sixth shutout of the season, marking a new season-best after claiming five blank sheets during her freshman season. On her birthday against No. 9 Michigan, Klebasko made a season-high seven saves. She would finish the weekend with 12 saves. Klebasko was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team earlier this week for her performance in the regular season. The sophomore goalkeeper, has started in the majority of games for the Terps and earned All-Big Ten Second Teams last year as a freshman. She ranks third in the conference in goals-against average (.960).

Maryland returns to action as they kick off NCAA Tournament play on Friday, Nov. 15. The location, opponent, time and broadcast information of the first-round game will be announced on the NCAA's tournament selection show, which will be broadcast on Sunday night at 10:00 p.m. on ncaa.com.
