Terrapins Add Two Signees

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Maryland men's golf head coach John Phillips signed two top players to the roster for the 2026-27 season Wednesday. Charles David Beeson (Roswell, Ga.) and Robby Rosati (Fairfield, Conn.) both signed National Letters of Intent to come to the University of Maryland.

Phillips on Beeson: "Charles David joins us having already won a High School National Championship. He is a powerful player with a tenacious work ethic. We are excited for him to join us and we look forward to his impact."

Beeson on Maryland: "I chose Maryland because of the great coaching staff, the school atmosphere, and the really strong academics Maryland has to offer."

  • 2023 CIAC Division 1 Co-Medalist with a score of 68 (-3)
  • Tied individual school record twice with score of 32 (-4)
  • Southern Connecticut Conference Athlete of The Month for the month of October 2025. 
  • 2024 Chappa Best Ball Tournament Champion. with current Terp Caden Piselli, with score of 61 (-8)
  • 2025 Ryan Lee Invitational Champion with a score of 68 (-4), won in match of cards
