Njoku Highlights Day One at Big Ten Championships

EUGENE, OR – The Terps completed Day 1 at the Big Ten Championships today with Chioma Njoku placing fifth overall in the women's hammer throw with marks of 65.15m.

Andrew Harmon had a throw of 61.29m in the men's hammer throw, his new season best.

Roman Spikes completed the men's 200m in 21.11 seconds, his new personal best, keeping him at ninth all-time.

Competition continues tomorrow at Day 2 of the Big Ten Championships with events starting at 12:30 PM EST.
