College Park, MD – Head Coach Alex Clemsen and the Maryland Wrestling team announced Friday that they will kick off the 2025–26 season with the annual Red vs. Black intrasquad match on Thursday, October 23 at 6 p.m. in the Schanwald Pavilion.

The event is open to the public, and fans are encouraged to attend. It will be a great opportunity to see both the new additions and returning veterans compete ahead of the upcoming season.
