Maddie Komoroski Earns All-Big Ten Second Team and Sportsmanship Honors

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland gymnast Madeline Komoroski has been named to the All-Big Ten Second Team and recognized as Maryland's Sportsmanship Honoree, the conference announced Wednesday. 

Komoroski has had a standout season, achieving career highs of 9.900 on bars, 9.975 on floor, and matching her career-best 9.950 on beam. She is also the reigning NCAA Regional Beam Champion and has been a consistent leader for the Terps throughout the season. Prior to the season, Komoroski was recognized as a Big Ten Gymnast to Watch, and last month she earned a nomination for the 2026 AAI Award, honoring the nation's most outstanding senior collegiate gymnast.

In addition to her athletic achievements, Komoroski's commitment to the community has been recognized with the Big Ten Jackie Robinson Award, highlighting her outstanding service and leadership off the mat.
