COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's basketball team won its final exhibition game of the season against Team Concept, 98-75, on Sunday night in Comcast Center. Playing in only her second game in a Terrapin uniform, freshman Kalika France just missed recording a triple-double, posting 16 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists.

The score was knotted early, 11-11, before the Terrapins went on a 10-0 run, capped by a senior Delvona Olver (Euclid, Ohio/Euclid) layup. Maryland led by as many as 17 points, 37-20, at the 4:53 mark in the first half. Sophomore Chrissy Fisher (Rumson, N.J./Rumson Fair Haven) had 13 of her game-high 24 points in the period to key the Terps' 46-34 halftime lead. Maryland had the hot hand, shooting 60.7 percent from the floor.

Team Concept pulled to within nine points with 7:31 left in the game on a couple of free throws from Laura Gonsalves, but the Terrapins gradually pulled away, taking a 98-75 victory.

France shot a blistering 7-for-10 from the field, while Fisher went 8-for-15 to contribute to the team's 58.3 shooting night. Freshman Shay Doron (Great Neck, N.Y./Christ the King) finished with 17 points, while Oliver chipped in 14 points and seven boards.
