The Atlantic Coast Conference
The Atlantic Coast Conference has never been stronger and is arguably the toughest league in all of college basketball.
The ACC is coming off back-to-back national titles and has won three of the last six and five of the last 10. Over the last 10 years, the ACC has won as many national championships as all the other conferences combined. The league has made nine appearances in the Final Four since 2001.
Balance is one of the most attractive aspects of a great conference, and the ACC has proven its competitive parity. The ACC is the only league to have each of its teams make at least one NCAA Tournament appearance over the last five years.
For the second time in four years, 10 ACC teams finished the 2009-10 seasons with 20 or more wins. The ACC is the only conference in Division I history to have 10 teams reach the 20-win plateau in a single season.
