2010 ACC Champions
Behind All-American Greivis Vasquez and fellow seniors Eric Hayes and Landon Milbourne, the 2010 Maryland Terrapins won seven straight to end the regular season and share the Atlantic Coast Conference championship with Duke, the eventual national champions.
Maryland finished with a 24-9 record overall and went 13-3 in the ACC. The game that lifted the Terrapins to a tie for the title was an electric 79-72 victory over the Blue Devils before a Senior Night crowd at Comcast Center.
Vasquez ended the season as the ACC Player of the Year, with Gary Williams being voted the ACC Coach of the Year.
