On Kerwin - If off-season conditioning is any indication, he is likely to lay claim to the title of Most Improved Terp ... he has been a tireless worker in the weight room and has put on close to 20 pounds of muscle since the end of last season ... he has always been a fearless player, who last year found himself competing against more physically developed opponents ... this season he may have the bulk to back-up his tenacity ... he possesses decent post moves and has terrific form on his midrange jumper ... his timing and coordination are excellent for a player his size .
As a Junior Played in all 29 games, starting the final 16 ... in his first year in the ACQ, he proved he is capable of playing in this league ... he had to make the transition from sixth-man to starter quickly with the season-ending injury to Garfield Smith ... he averaged 4.1 points and 4.9 rebounds, the latter figure was fourth-best on the team ... he scored in double figures three times, scoring his career high of 11 points against both Florida State and N.C.
