On Petrovic — An exchange student from Yugoslavia who excelled during his brief stint playing American high school basketball .he is the team's biggest player and is expected to see considerable action at center or power forward .he was fully recovered from knee surgery by the start of practice in November .He is a former member of the Yugoslavian Junior National Team and competed with the premier National Team in the summer of 1991 on a U.S. tour As a Senior — Played in only 11 games for North Penn because of a pair of injuries ... he suffered a broken wrist and fractured elbow in a serious fall during a preseason scrimmage which kept him out of action until the first game in January ... he then started 11 straight games before tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in that Uth game and undergoing season-ending surgery ... in his 11 -game stint, he averaged 21.3 points, 13.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.0 blocks per game, and he shot .601 from the field and .786 from the line ... with Nemanja in the line-up, North Penn was 9-2 and led the Suburban 1 National Conference ... NPHS eventually finished the season 17-9 and third in the league ... he was coached at North Penn by Dave Torresani ...
