April 3, 1999

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 41 Maryland women's tennis team won its first ACC match of the season as the doubles team of Stacy Walkowitz (Coral Springs, Fla./Coral Springs) and Chrissie Terrill (Plano, Tex./The Hockaday School) won a tight 8-6 decision in the finale to give the Terps a 5-4 decision over Clemson on the Cole Field House Tennis Courts.
