ACC Volleyball Tournament Bracket Announced

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The second-seeded Maryland volleyball team will take on seventh-seeded Duke in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament which begins on Friday, Nov. 21, in Orlando, Fla. The match is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Maryland wrapped up its regular season with a come-from-behind victory over Florida State, 3-2, on Friday in Tallahassee. With the win, the Terps improved to 12-4 in the conference and clinched a second-place finish in the league. Georgia Tech, ranked No. 5 in the nation in the USA TODAY/AVCA Coaches' Poll, earned the top seed in the tournament.

Maryland looks to capture its third ACC Tournament title, having won it in 1990 and 1996.

Earlier this season, the Terrapins defeated the Blue Devils in three games in College Park and in four games in Durham.

Fourth-seeded North Carolina and fifth-seeded Virginia square off on Friday at 11 a.m., and top seed Georgia Tech faces the winner of No. 8 Florida State/No. 9 NC State at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Third-seeded Wake Forest and sixth-seeded Clemson ploay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The title game will be played Sunday, Nov. 23, at 3:30 p.m., and will be broadcast by Comcast SportsNet, Sunshine Network and Fox Sports Net South.

All games will be played at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.
