ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Emily Marker (Ann Arbor, Mich.) represented Maryland at the National Indoor Championships. She played Florida's Jennifer Magely in the singles back draw Friday, and lost 2-6, 7-5, 6-2.

Marker closes out the fall season for the Terrapins. The Terps will begin Spring action on Jan. 31, against Texas A&M.

Markers' fall highlights include winning the Maryland Invitational flight A singles title for the second consecutive year. She started out the fall season with an ITA pre-season ranking of 71.

The senior decision and information sciences major, also reached the backdraw semifinals at the Riviera All-American on Oct. 10.

From Oct. 23-28, Marker played in the ITA Eastern Regionals. She advanced to the finals, finishing second out of over a hundred women.
