The postseason awards are out for women's soccer and Maryland senior forward Nikki Resnick have each earned third team all-Mid-Atlantic honors.
Francis, a native of Richboro, Pa., was selected to the NSCAA/adidas all-Mid-Atlantic third team. She led the Terps in points (10), goals (3), assists (4) and shots (54). This year's selection marks the second time in her Terrapin career that Francis has earned third team regional honors, having also made the team in 2003. She finished her career at Maryland as the school's third all-time leading scorer with 67 points. Francis also ranks among Maryland's career leaders in goals (6th, 22), assists (4th, 23), shots (2nd, 225), game-winning goals (t4th, 8) and games played (t13th, 82).
Resnick, a native of Boca Raton, Fla., is a repeat selection to SoccerBuzz's all-Mid-Atlantic third team. The first team all-ACC selection led the conference in saves per game (6.24). She made 115 saves on the season and recorded four shutouts. With just two years at Maryland under her belt, Resnick is already fourth on the school's career saves list with 230 and is fifth in career shutouts with 11.
