The Maryland women's basketball team's home opener against George Mason on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. will be broadcast live on Comcast SportsNet. The afternoon begins with the raising of the national championship banner, as the Terrapins play in front of the home crowd for the first time in 2006-07.
Maryland's home contest against Wake Forest on Jan. 21 has also been added to the television schedule, airing nationally on CSTV. The time for that game has been moved to 4 p.m.
With the addition of the two games, the Terrapins' schedule includes 11 televised contests, with six national broadcasts. Maryland will also have the opportunity to appear on television as selected ACC Tournament games and all games of the NCAA Tournament are also on the television slate.
