    COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 1 Maryland women's basketball team will host the BTI Classic this weekend, Nov. 17-19, welcoming 25th-ranked George Washington, the Pac-10's Arizona and 2006 NCAA Tournament participant TCU. The round-robin tournament consists of two games each day over the three-day period. The Terrapins play in the second game on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Live video streaming for the Maryland games is also available on Maryland All-Access at www.umterps.com.

    Maryland has started the season 2-0 for the seventh-straight year, after picking up victories over Middle Tennessee State and George Mason last weekend. The Terps also unveiled their national championship banner on Sunday, Nov. 12, prior to the start of the GMU game.

    Picking up where they left off last season, the Terps have five players averaging double figures through two games. Led by junior Crystal Langhorne's (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) 15 points per game, the team is averaging 89.5 ppg. The Terrapins have shot better than 60 percent from the floor in both games, as well.

    Maryland faces TCU on the first day, after George Washington and Arizona tip of at 5 p.m. The Lady Frogs are opening the 2006-07 season this weekend. Arizona comes into the tournament with a 1-0 record after defeating Nicholls State, 83-41, on Tuesday.

    GW comes into the weekend ranked 25th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. The Colonials won both of their opening-season games, topping UMBC and Coppin State. Sunday's clash between the Terps and GW will be the first since 1994.
