College Park, Md. - The University of Maryland's women's and men's soccer games scheduled for Friday evening have been postponed due to heavy rains expected in the area. Both games have been rescheduled for Saturday morning.

The Terrapin women's team will host Towson at 9:00 a.m. at Ludwig Field. The Maryland men's team will then take on UCLA at 11:30 a.m.

Maryland's men's head coach Sasho Cirovski and women's head coach Brian Pensky released the following joint-statement: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but given all of the weather forecasts this was simply the right thing to do for the safety of the student-athletes and the fans. We encourage fans to come out and support the Terps on Saturday."

TICKET INFORMATION

Pre-sold tickets for Friday night's games will be honored for the Saturday morning games. Gates will open for the women's game at 8:30 a.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the game on Saturday morning.

Fans who have already purchased tickets, but are unable to attend the rescheduled games will be allowed to exchange those tickets for any other remaining home game. The exchange must take place in advance of the desired game. For more information on exchanging tickets, please call the Maryland Ticket Office at 1-800-IM-A-TERP.

PARKING INFORMATION

Due to the Maryland-William & Mary football game on Saturday, parking for the women's and men's soccer games will be available only at the Mowatt Lane Garage.

Fans are reminded that football game day parking is not open until 12 Noon. Fans coming to the soccer game who have football parking passes will still be required to park in the Mowatt Lane Garage.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

There are three suggested routes to take to arrive at the Mowatt Lane Garage.

1. From Adelphi Road, turn onto Campus Drive. Take a right onto Mowatt Lane, which leads directly to the garage.

2. From Route 1, turn onto Guilford Drive. Turn left onto Mowatt Lane, which leads directly to the garage.

3. From Route 1, turn onto Campus Drive. Continue on Campus Drive through the circle. Campus Drive will bend to the left and becomes Preinkert Drive, which leads to the garage.

Fans are encouraged not to take Route 193, which will be the most difficult route to Mowatt Lane Garage.
