On the benefit of upperclassmen leadership
"We're being led by upperclassmen. Our juniors and our seniors, they've been there. They know what it takes to win a national championship, they did it when they were freshmen and sophomores, so the fact that we have so much veteran leadership we have the experience factor. A year ago, we had the target on our back, but I really feel like we're able to play much more freely this year and we know what to expect and we're just really excited to get going."

"We have to play in College Park, first. We have some very tough games coming up so we're not looking that far ahead, yet. I think our season last year really prepared us for this season."

On getting the No. 1 seed "I was so excited, I couldn't believe it. I was so excited, because after our early exit from the ACC Tournament against Duke, I wasn't sure we could still get one."

On getting a No. 1 seed
"We were just so shocked, we really didn't think we were going to get it, but we're really excited about it and we're deserving of it because of our non-conference schedule."

"I'm ecstatic about the No. 1 seed. We didn't know we were getting it. We're so happy. This has been the longest week ever, so to see this out here and see the matchup, I'm ready to go."

On priorities for the NCAA Tournament compared to the ACC Tournament
"Well, now it's just defense. We have to watch film, we have to get ready to play. It's about heart now. We're going to be ready to play this year."

"I was paranoid all day. I didn't even know if we were going to get a top-two seed. I was very excited to get a one seed. I've been following the bracketology at espn.com and they had us as the two seed. I'm very excited and very surprised about it."
