COLLEGE PARK, Md.- Maryland women's basketball summer camps and clinics are underway, beginning with the Parent/Daughter Clinic in mid-June followed by the Position Camp and Elite Player overnight camp. Campers and parents engaged in drills with instruction coming from the Terrapin staff, as well as, other top coaches and current Terps.
All campers get to play in the state-of-the-art Comcast Center, home of the Maryland men's and women's basketball teams. Every camps features some of the best women's and girls basketball coaches from the area or the country. During overnight camps, campers stay in dorms on Maryland's beautiful campus in College Park.
Young basketball players still have an opportunity to sign up for future camps. Individual Day Camp is slated for July 29-Aug. 1. Campers can also improve their shooting drills at Shooting Camp on July 29 and 30. Campers who want to focus on their free throw shooting can sign up for an evening session on July 31.
Two Individual Player overnight camps still remain. The first session is July 25-28, followed by an Aug. 2-5 session. Campers can sign up for just one session or multiple sessions.
