Maryland sophomore Ginny Glover has been tabbed ACC Swimming
Performer of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league office Tuesday.
Glover helped lead Maryland to its sixth win overall and its third in ACC action with a win at Miami on Jan. 2. Glover won two individual events and aided two relay teams to first and second-place showings to pick up her second career ACC weekly honor. The Ellicott City, Md., native swept the 100 and 200 free events with times of 52.48 and 1:51.79, respectively. Additionally, Glover swam the second leg of the first-place 200 free relay team, which finished the race in a time of 1:37.78, and led off for the 200 medley relay group that clocked a 1:48.85, just behind Maryland's first-place relay finish.
On the men's side, Duke junior Nick Garvy took home the weekly honor after the Blue Devils picked up a second-place finish at the Orange Bowl Classic in Key Largo, Fla.
The Terps return to action on Saturday with a dual meet against Rutgers at Eppley Recreation Natatorium at 1 p.m.
