COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The Maryland women's basketball team will play host to local school Gallaudet in an exhibition matchup Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Comcast Center.
The Terps are ranked No. 21 in the Associated Press poll, which came out last week. Maryland is one of four ACC schools to be ranked, along with Duke at No. 6, North Carolina at No. 15 and Florida State at No. 18.
Four starters from last year's 21-win team return, including All-ACC Third Team member Lynetta Kizer and All-ACC Freshman player Diandra Tchatchouang. Head coach Brenda Frese brings in the No. 2 recruiting class this season.
The Terps will play host to District of Columbia Sunday at 2 p.m. in a second exhibition match. They welcome Monmouth Saturday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. in the first regular season game of the 2010-11 season.
