Game Notes vs. UMBC 
COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The ninth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team will hit the road for the first time in the 2011-12 season Saturday when is heads to in-state opponent UMBC. The Terps and Retrievers will play at 7 p.m. in the Retrievers Activities Center Arena.
Live stats will be available for Saturday's game and the game will be shown live online for a fee at UMBCRetrievers.tv.
The Terps (3-0) beat Towson, 82-46, Wednesday night behind 26 points from freshman guard Brene Moseley. It was the most scored by a Terp freshman since Kristi Toliver dropped 28 vs. Utah in the Elite Eight en route to the Terrapins' first national championship in 2006.
The Retrievers (2-1) fell at Coppin State, 68-60, Wednesday night.
After last weekend's results, the Terps are ranked No. 9 in the ESPN/USA Today Division I Coaches' poll and are No. 10 in the Associated Press rankings.
