COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The fifth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team will face off against No. 19 Delaware Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the Terrapin Classic championship match at Comcast Center.

Both the Terrapins and the Blue Hens are undefeated so far this season. The Terps are 12-0, while the Blue Hens are 10-0. Delaware also has the nation's leading scorer in Elena Delle Donne.

Maryland is coming off of a dominating 84-36 win over Lafayette Wednesday afternoon in the Terrapin Classic first round. Brene Moseley to lead five Terrapins in double figures.

Alyssa Thomas scored 11 points and Tianna Hawkins had her sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and 13 rebounds for Maryland. Essence Townsend and Lynetta Kizer added 10 points each.

The Terrapins combined for an efficient assist/turnover ratio with 21 assists to just 12 turnovers. Moseley led with six assists.

Maryland won the battle inside once again, beating the Leopards in the paint, 46-8, and out rebounding them, 55-29.

Delaware beat East Carolina, 60-40, Wednesday to advance to the Terrapin Classic championship game. The Pirates and the Leopards will play at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Terps are 12-0 for the first time since the 2006-07 season, when they started off 18-0.

Maryland is ranked No. 5 in the latest Associated Press rankings and the ESPN/USA Today Division I Top 25 Coaches' poll.
