COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Terp fans have made College Park the toughest home site in the country over recent years. Come be a part of the action March 20 and 22!

This year is the 10th year the Terrapins have hosted the NCAA First and Second Rounds and fourth since 2005.

"Every time we've hosted the NCAA Tournament while I've been head coach here at Maryland, our fans have really supported our team well," head coach Brenda Frese said. "It's a great feeling to come out of the tunnel and know we've got so many people behind us. There's no doubt it gives our players that extra push."

In 2008 and 2009, the Terp faithful helped make College Park the most-attended site in the tournament. In 2008, eight teams came to Comcast Center as their first destination and in 2009, four teams came.

The advantage has given Maryland 10-2 all-time record in NCAA Tournament games here in College Park.

"I love that the rest of the country gets to see how well our game is supported here at Maryland and that this is a logical place to host tournament games," Frese said.

The Terprapin fanbase is annually one of the ACC's best, helping Maryland lead the league in attendance since 2007.
