  • The sixth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team will close out the regular season Sunday with a 2 p.m. game at NC State in Raleigh, N.C.

  • The Terrapins (24-4, 11-4 ACC) have won their last three straight games and six of the their last seven.

  • The Wolfpack (16-13, 5-10) most recently beat Boston College Thursday night, 73-69, in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

  • NC State owns the all-time series over the Terps, 41-34, but Maryland has won six of the last seven meetings, dating back to 2005.

  • In their most recent meeting, then-No. 12 Maryland beat NC State, 88-59, on Feb. 6, 2011 in College Park. The Terrapins trailed by as much as 12 in the first half, but a strong second half surge and 22-point, 13-rebound performance from Lynetta Kizer propelled them to the win.

  • Most recently, the Terps routed North Carolina 84-64 Friday night at Comcast Center behind 20 points and 14 rebounds from Alyssa Thomas. Alicia DeVaughn added 14 points and Laurin Mincy had 14.

  • Thomas is leading the ACC in scoring with her 17.3 points per game in ACC games and 16.7 points per game in all games. Tianna Hawkins leads the country with her field goal percentage of .643 and the ACC in offensive rebounds with 4.7 per game.

  • Maryland is ranked No. 6 in both the latest Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Division I Top 25 Coaches' polls.
