  • The eighth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team will look for its third straight win Thursday at Clemson in its second road contest of the week. The Terps (20-3, 7-3 ACC) and the Tigers (6-15, 2-8) will play at 7 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.

  • Thursday's matchup will mark the 63rd meeting between Maryland and Clemson. The Terrapins own the all-time series, 38-24, and have won the last nine straight meetings, dating back to 2004.

  • In their most recent meeting, the Terps won at Clemson, 80-59, on Jan. 16, 2011. Alyssa Thomas notched a game-high 21 points off 8-16 shooting from the field. Tianna Hawkins added a double-double with 19 points, all in the second half, and eight of her 10 boards coming in the second stanza as well. She was a career-high 9-11 at the foul line.

  • Most recently, the Terps held off No. 22 Georgia Tech, 64-56, to win on the road Monday night. Tianna Hawkins scored a career-high 23 points off 11-13 shooting from the field. Alyssa Thomas had 23 points as well. She was 12-12 from the free throw line.

  • With her 885 career rebounds, Lynetta Kizer is now at No. 5 in the Maryland record books. With her 1,496 career points, she needs just 4 to break the 1,500-point mark. She is currently No. 11 on the Terps' all-time scoring list.

  • Alyssa Thomas was added to the State Farm Wade Watch List Tuesday. She is one of six underclassmen to make the list.

  • Based off Monday's NCAA statistics, the Terrapins' rebounding margin of +14.0 is fourth in the country to Liberty's +15.7, California's +15.1, and Baylor's +14.7. They are also in the top 10 in the country in scoring offense (2), FG percentage (4), assists (7) and scoring margin (9).

  • The Terps moved to No. 8 in both the Associated Press poll and the ESPN/USA Today Division I Top 25 Coaches' poll this week.
