Kimel, Stumpf Inducted into Eastern PA HOF

PHILADELPHIA - Former Terps Kerstin (Manning) Kimel and Tracey Stumpf will be inducted into the Eastern PA Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame Saturday at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill.

Kimel helped Maryland win the 1992 NCAA Division I championship and earned All-America honors in 1992 and 1993 playing for the Terps. She has won more than 200 games in 17 seasons as head coach at Duke University and has taken 15 of her teams to the NCAA Tournament.

Stumpf was an All-American defender for three years and helped the Terps win the 1986 Division I title. She was a member of Team USA's 1989 World Cup squad.

Other honorees include Laurie Gray Markle, Carole Wakefield, Robert Ambler, Patrick Carney, Bill Leahy, Robert "Monty" Montgomery, R. Noel Turner.
