BALTIMORE - Senior Katie Schwarzmann is the latest in a long line of Maryland women's lacrosse players to snag the front cover of Lacrosse Magazine.

Maryland's defending Tewaaraton Award winner is headlining the March issue, available today.

Schwarzmann, a midfielder from Sykesville, Md., is a key component of the U.S. women's national team which is prepping for the 2013 FIL World Cup in Canada.

The two-time defending IWLCA National Midfielder of the Year already boasts 12 goals through three games in 2013. No. 1 Maryland travels to No. 6 Virginia Friday night for a league battle at 7 p.m.

Junior midfielder Beth Glaros also appears in this month's issue as part of the `Give-and'Go' section.
