Over the last 24 years, head coach Missy Meharg has built the Terrapin field hockey program into a powerhouse in the world of college field hockey. Winners of eight NCAA titles and nine ACC titles, Meharg has built a program that includes talented student-athletes, strong field hockey fundamentals and a belief that hard work brings success.

Terrapin field hockey student-athletes have long achieved success on and off the field, as 100 Terps have been named to the ACC?™s Honor Roll over the last 37 years. Maryland has made 25 post-season appearances, having made 10 appearances in the NCAA final game and 14 in the NCAA semifinals. Maryland was in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament in eight of the last nine years.
