COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Primed for its first season in the Big Ten Conference, the Maryland wrestling team will host the B1G Season Kickoff Oct. 24-26 at the XFINITY Center.

The weekend long event will mark the beginning of the Terps' 2014-2015 campaign. The weekend begins with an open practice on Friday, Oct. 24 at 3:30 p.m. in the XFINITY Center wrestling room. Another open practice will take place the next day at 10 a.m., followed immediately by an alumni social and lunch.

This leads up to annual Red & Black Wrestle-Offfs at noon at the XFINITY Center Pavillion. The competition will see Terps face Terps on separate teams. Following the action, head coach Kerry McCoy and the team will host the Season Kickoff Banquet at Heritage Hall in the XFINITY Center from 2-4 p.m.
