COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland rookie George Campbell was named to the Soccer America All-Freshman Second Team, the publication announced Tuesday.
Campbell appeared in 20 games for the Big Ten champion Terrapins, earning nine starts at the forward position.
The Baltimore-product scored four goals in his final seven games for Maryland including scores against Santa Clara, Ohio State, at Rutgers and then against Rutgers in the Big Ten Tournament.
