What attracted you to the University of Maryland?

I was looking for a school that would allow me to be close to the nations capital as I am majoring in Government and Politics. I would love to work in Washington DC after I graduate and going to college eight miles away from the most influential city in the world is really cool. I was also looking for a softball program where I can step in and contribute. I love that the University of Maryland is so close to my house and my family can come watch me play!

How has your first semester at Maryland been so far?

It's been both challenging and a lot of fun. It has required discipline and hard work, but I feel as if it is paying off.

How has it been getting to know your teamates?

Getting to know my teamates have been great! Everyone's been extremely welcoming and our coaching staff has been very thoughtful in their approach to building team relationships.

What is your favorite memory from playing softball?

My favorite memory has to be making it to Super Regionals last year at NC State. Standing on Howe Field at the University of Oregon during the National Anthem prior to the beginning of game one was just a sureal feeling. It was very exciting.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?

Catch up on sleep and get ahead on schoolwork.

What is the best vacation you have ever taken?

My family is always really busy because my brother, sister, and I have always played sports year round. So anytime that we can all be together as a family on a beach somewhere is a really good vacation in my book.

If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?
